Acquisition and analysis of physiological signals in laboratory experiments

We have made several projects together with the institute. As one of the biggest projects we would like to put out the product MatVIEW, which enables acquisition and analysis of physiological signals in experiments that are done in the laboratory of the patophysiological institute.

The system is made in MatLab program environment and it enables signal acquisition from practically any source. We did this in a way that we used the acquisition system made by a company Humusoft from Czech Republic, which enables a connection with practically all analogue-digital cards manufacturers.

The system enables signal acquisition from sixteen signals at a time and an automatic analysis of these signals in real-time. So it can analyse frequency of these signals in real time and after the acquisition. Besides frequency analysis it also enables advanced sorting or display of signals. That, what makes this system different form all others all over the world, is the fact that we were the first to make a system, which enables a continuous signal acquisition with no time limits. This means that we can program a capture in a time of one year.

Programming is done very simple over the graphical user interface. Besides acquisition programming we have also made a friendly user interface that also programs stimulation analogue signals. This means that we can program a form of stimulation signals, with which we, for example, stimulate a muscle in laboratory rats.

The system can acquire signals such as EEG, EKG, EMG or any other analogue signal from laboratory animals or human subjects.
