Correspondence
The journal publishes full-length original research papers and
short research communications, review articles, book reviews, news,
communications and notes. Submission of a paper to Image
Analysis and Stereology is understood to imply that it has not been
previously published (except in abstract form) and that it has not
been submitted for publication elsewhere at the same time. Every
effort will be made to notify authors about acceptance, necessary
revision or rejection within 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a
manuscript. Every manuscript is reviewed by two independent
referees.
Manuscripts should be submitted electronically in pdf or ps format
for rewieving purposes, after acceptance they should be written
within LaTex template or provided as a Word file. If not
electronically submitted an original and 2 complete copies of
each paper should be submitted to the Editorial Office and addressed
to Image Analysis and Stereology Editorial Office, Institute of
Anatomy, Medical Faculty, Korytkova 2, SI-1000 Ljubljana,
Slovenia.

For rapid and accurate publication it is essential that manuscripts
follow exactly the guidelines described below. If not submitted by
e-mail, authors are requested to accompany the final printed version
of a manuscript (including original figures) with an electronic
copy on a CD. The electronic version of a manuscript should be
written in MS Word (ver. 6.0 or higher), RTF format, or LaTex.
Style file in Latex is available on the IAS website or can be Emailed
